"The Community Security Organization (CSO) - Cape Town, is tasked with the oversight of the safety for the Jewish Community's which includes all security and medical emergency management programs and policies.
The CSO is run by a team of professional staff with a large group of highly trained, committed and dedicated volunteers. The staff and volunteers are tasked with the safety, security and protection of the Cape Town Jewish community.
The CSO mission statement is "To Protect Jewish Life and the Jewish Way of Life". Volunteers from the various schools and synagogues play a critical team role in achieving the mission statement. " (CSO Cape Town)
